Medical cannabis is legal in West Virginia. The state's medical marijuana program was established in 2017 and became operational in 2021. Adult-use (recreational) cannabis remains illegal.

West Virginia allows telemedicine for follow-up appointments but requires the initial certification to be done in person.

Pay the application fee and submit required documentation.
