Medical Eligibility & Consultation Options
- Cachexia or wasting syndrome
- Severe, debilitating painful
- Severe nausea
- Seizures
- Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including those characteristic of multiple sclerosis
- Any other medical condition or its treatment approved by the Department of Health
- South Dakota allows telemedicine for follow-up appointments but requires the initial certification to be done in person.
